Comments: A mass-mailing worm that sends itself to the addresses found on the system. The worm alsouploads user information to an FTP server that the worm's author specifies.

Symptoms:


 Creates the folder, C:MyV_DIR, and adds the log file, MyV.log, to
that folder. The worm uses Myv.log to store debugging information
that it creates as it runs. 
 Copies itself to C:MyV_DIRMyV.exe if the file does not already
exist. 
 Searches the system for the .doc and .pwl files, cached passwords,
and email addresses. The worm stores any that it finds in log files
located in C:MyV_DIR.  Uploads the found passwords and email
addresses, along with lists of the .pwl and .doc files that it found,
to a remote server.

Recommended Cleanup Software: We found that Easy SpyRemover is the most effective tool for removing this file.

Manual Removal Instructions: Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
Update the virus definitions.
Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected as W32.Logitall.A@mm.
